“A great saw, I have ripped down 18mm osb, also C24 6x2 joists all nice clean cuts, flew through them no problem. It's not too heavy or bulky either. Just a good solid saw. Only problem I have found is with me being right handed it tends to fill up my pockets with saw dust as the nozzle could do with a bit more of an angle to direct it away. I am using 4 ah batteries which don't last as long as I expected but I have been cutting 6x2. Generally very happy with my purchase.”

“As a Makita fan for diy I've been looking at their power saws for sometime. I noticed that the price on this model had reduced substantially from earlier in the year and so went fot it. Very glad I did. An excellent compact and lightweight saw with plenty of power for my purposes. Glides through sheet ply like a dream where the blower function really comes into its own. Much faster rotation and brake than my mitre saw but I will probably get used to that with practice. Overall a great little saw at a great price”
