Great bit of kit, now wish I had bought one of these years ago. Perfect for cutting sheet boarding and light weight so easy on the arm

I already got a Panasonic brushless saw but it does not do 45 degrees,so i had a couple of Makita Batteries and bought a used charger for £5 and decided to get the Makita brushed 501Z saw good enough for using it once in a while, the size 136mm is good enough same size as the Panasonic saw so i don't need buying saw blades although you get one free i got another 6 blades for the Panasonic which i can use with the Makita, i think the Makita 501Z is a very good saw for DIY use don't make a lot of difference because it's not brushless for home use, i even bought 7 sets of brushes from Aliexpress for £5 over in UK you get 1 set for £5 for the same brushes.
