Tested but not used yet as it is bought as a Christmas present a lot quieter than a full 1/2 inch Makita router very nice comfortable to hold & handle & excellent value for money. Router cutters having an 1/2 inch set they work a treat no problems value for money yes. I use very long trend router cutters that cost £50 each & never have an issue really but I use biscuit jointer router bits too for tongue & grooving timber up for timber.

my latest toy from powertool world, seems well made and light, no leads, transformers and a nice weight. got the kit with all the bases, and the plunge base is well engineered,it also includes an offset base but cant see it of being any use as it cant be plunged and drive is by a rubber belt, so that will be shelved. I find the machine much easier to control than my 110v router, comes with a side fence but only short rods for the plunge base, I think you can buy longer ones as an extra, found the spanner for the collet a bit loose so have binned for a proper tight fit one, overall I am very pleased with this tool as I am with all my Makita 18 volt tools

Excellent piece of kit, typically well built Makita quality. I made up a mortising jig with the router base, a very versatile tool.

What a great tool! Lots of power to do every light to medium weight job. I had to route some guide slots into 24 hardwood door frames and it made the job easy, even with a cheap used bit.

Good piece of kit. Probably includes more accessories than I'll ever use though.
