great service from powertool world. i've had one a few weeks now and the radio's DAB reception is a cause for concern, can be hit or miss, frustraitingly so at times. This radio is a big lump, quite a bit bigger and heavier than older makita units. Sound is ok, I haven't equalised it to my taste yet but the presets are all too bassy with 'nuisance noise' then travelling if indoors at low volumes. i'm yet to try the Bluetooth so have nothing to report re: range etc. Aerial integrated into the handle is a nice feature. Would make a decent workshop or garden radio, I'm not convinced yet about it's credentials as a 'site' radio, I'd get the right hump if some mud slinger splashed plaster all over it etc I just dont think it would wear it well where as old style makita radios looked fine covered in paint and the like. It's only a 6/10 from me, I have a lot of makita kit and I almost regret buying this item
