Although designed for use with the Makita LXT Lithium-Ion range of batteries, the DMR104 is also compatible with any slide or cluster Makita battery from 7.2v – 18v including NiCD, NiMH or Li-Ion. It is not compatible with the Makita ‘G’ batteries commonly available in DIY stores or the new Makita CXT Slide 10.8v batteries. It can also be powered by AC mains (cable included).

“First time bought from from Powertool world and have to say service was first class. Delivery was day after as promised. Found a fault on the item but they sent returns label to send back item free post. Tracking item by dpd also first class service who they use. Got a replacement straight away. Will be buying again from powertool world that's for sure . We do fitted kitchens and joined work so we need tools delivered quick and at a good price which we certainly got. “The DAB radio doesn't pick up half the stations it should and the ones that it does pick up are horrendous quality/patchy reception, even the FM reception is terrible. Sound quality is ok if youre indoors. I've gone back to my old cement covered Bosch radio. It's heavy to lug about but better quality than the Makita. Which I wish I'd never bought...”
