“Wide angle general light , on 2nd level it's plenty to see by for general work . Lasts for around 24 hours on a 5amph battery. The pack is quite heavy but then it's a proper piece of kit that seems well made and easy to use . The lamp can be clipped to pockets or to the battery pack which is handy if a fixed light is needed. Glad I bought it, it will be a useful standby light .”

“Limited play time, I want a hand free light. It will light your path ahead nicely, is not a a search light. Horses for course my friends. A bit pricy for what it is BUT A MAKITA hopefully I get my money worth over the years.”

“It's a nice added light to my makita collection; BML184/DML801/DML805. Although it has to be said that the battery mount is rather large & bulky,...why? I don't know but its very handy having the a flexible connection & able to be connected to clothing points with the fastener behind the light.”
