I've got a full range of makita lights, the 805 been the top dog. Shame it doesn't come with remote or ultra low mode. This 801 has a twisting head feature that is very hand.

Now I've got a BML184 which is the discontinued florescent tube light. A BML803 flexible led light & now this DML801, all very good quality kit as expected from Japanese makita. They are all handy but for bang for bucks the DML805 floodlight is the bees-knees & get the stand also!

A great bit of kit, I've been less impressed by older generation makita cordless lights, but as I'm committed to makita 18v, & needing more light in gloomy spaces, I got one of these to try, & it does a really good job, very even spread of light and the variation of adjustability & hook really help for tricky locations & working on the move. II had an accident with mine only a few days after I got it, & I'd recommend not trying this, but I managed to knock it off a ledge while lit, It dropped a storey onto a concrete floor, bounced & carried on totally unfazed. I'd get more of these.
