“Not particularly bright. Only has one brightness setting. The switch seems a bit flimsy - only time will tell if it lasts. I guess its strong point is the length of time it lasts on a charge? Really shouldn't expect much more for the price.”

“A very simple bit of kit. Needing more light working in gloomy areas, I got a couple of these, partly as the spec says they give out 500 lumens. As it looks & says, the 186 is a flashlight, best suited for holding in your hand, & the ones I got have quite a strong focus on a central point, with lower level of illumination around, so far better for illuminating at a distance, not good for lighting a small area evenly - that job is far better done by the DML801, despite its apparently lower output.”
