The saw is a great bit of kit but quite awkward to move around

Just what I expected from Makita quality - solid and well made - makes easy work cutting 2 x 6 timber.

Love this thing. Only use it for DIY/hobby work but it’s make light work of multiple cutting. Blade and fence were ‘true’ straight out if the box so no tinkering was required (in this case). Weighs a ton so not going anywhere, and I’ve fitted it to the Makita stand (separate purchase). The whole setup is probably a bit of overkill for what I use it for, but at least I’m future proofed. Mitres have been exact and way better than I’ve ever done manually with a mitre block and saw.

Very powerful and accurate. This replaced my Bosch which I thought was good till I got this.

The saw itself is outstanding and glad I got it. For the price tho it’s a shame that this has no lazer on it. I got a laser on an £80 evolution saw. Makita should be miles ahead on features let alone behind on the most basic
