We brought this Mower not only for the garden but to mow some of our allotment. We only have a small lawn at home and so far the battery has only been charged once it has done 4 cuts and strimmer the edge. The mower saves time on getting power leads etc it is light and folds away neatly for easy storage. Delivery time second to none

The battery lasts well and charges quickly with the built in fan maintaining the temperature. The cut is smooth and even delivers some tramlines. The only downside is the box (for which I deducted the star). It fits well enough but the slope is a little steep which means it constantly fills up nearer the mouth; consequently, you need to stop and push the grass to the back of the box or empty it very frequently. Having said this, I've just changed to this from our usual petrol mower and I won't be going back to a petrol one any time in the future. The electric mower is so easy to start that stopping more frequently isn't too much of a bother. We have a large lawn and this manages to cut it in one charge as long as it's kept short (if it's longer, the battery drains far quicker). Given that it is so quick and easy to use, keeping the grass short is more of a pleasure than a chore.

I have a medium size garden and was able to cut the grass twice using the 5 ah battery.. I hoped to get a wee bit more out of the battery,, but there you go... The lawn mower itself is very good , light and easily moved when cutting if anything the battery is the weak point, however with the extra battery giveaway how can you refuse ?

I decided to but this as we have a medium garden and the petrol lawnmower had finally died along with the 15 year old flymo. We needed a lawnjmower that was fuss free, lighter to manage and as I have a few Makita batteries and tools in the shed that have served well i thought I’d look into battery lawn mowers. The reviews were good as were the descriptions. I am actually a big DEWALT fan but this mower was better priced for our garden. I would highly recommend this bit of kit as it works hard and does the job well.

Surprisingly it’s powerful enough to take on knee high grass! Battery is strong enough for a small lawn so an extra free battery from Makita is a nice touch!

Seems to be working well and getting the job done, don’t have a big lawn so didn’t need a petrol mower. Battery will obviously go into my other Makita kit, plus an additional free battery with the redemption offer made it a good decision

Good little lawnmower for a small garden. Its nice and light and the 5Ah battery supplied lasts for about half-an-hour. It tends to get clogged up if the grass is wet. Can't comment on reliability as I've only had it a couple of weeks.
