“Bought this to replace a nine year old 18volt SDS + drill , went for the 36 volt model because I needed a bit more punch when drilling engineering bricks, it’s early days but so far I’m pleased with the performance, if it lasts like the previous model which was also a makita it’ll see me to retirement. Incidentally the old one is still working and given all my kit is makita and runs on the 18 volt LXT batteries, which I have plenty of it was a no brainier to buy this model which runs on 2 18volt batteries.not used the chisel function yet but given the weight of the drill it should be spot on for light demolition work.”
