Bought to replace a 20 year old 3 speed 14.4v combi drill. This is significantly lighter and on paper more powerful. I’ve not used it yet but feels very nice to hold and very good quality.

Iv been using Makita tools for over 20 years - this drill is poor - feels very dull with no power - wouldn't buy again

It does the job, light weight, screw, hammer or just drill plus being brushless as well, not large for tight spaces. Have had some oversized drill bits in it and have leaned in, slot in first gear and away you go. Some people don’t swop gears it’s important that you do or you’ll burn it out. Great drill

It's a Makita, so build quality and design are excellent. This is a robust tool and, in consequence, a little on the heavy, bulky side. Those are the only cons. In all other respects, this is a first class tool, with excellent power and durability. Battery life is excellent. Recommended.
