The drill arrived safely, although behind schedule...apparently due to carrier issues. The drill arrived in a non-makita box, but all parts required were included. The drill chuck was jammed shut. I suspect the drill was a graded product as there were scratches on the chuck where it looks like someone had previously tried to get the chuck open. The drill now makes a slight clunking noise. Probably damaged sustained from the previous person trying to get the chuck to open. The drill is powerful and useful...it will be interesting to see how long it lasts, given its dodgy start

Have always had makita, the heavy duty drill is the best drill I've had, metal chuck and brushless better motor and drive well worth the extra money than lesser modlels
