I had an older 18V batt combine drill version about 10 years old, it's still working till this day, but it was losing a bit of power and the Jaws on the chuck aren't holding up so well so I bought this newer upgrade. To say I'm made up is an understatement. It's powerful, smaller in size which is a benefit, not as heavy in your hand and has all the same functions as my old model. My only gripe with Battery Tools nowadays is, You think your getting a great offer on what your buying, But then you have to buy the battery/s & they cost nearly as much as the tool just for 1. When I got my old one years ago it came with 2 Battery's and a combination of drill bits sockets and various other attachments in a large case. Nowadays, you have to buy all the extras separate! But the New Makita Battery combi drill is a Quality piece of kit and I'm happy with the tool overall. Never had a bad Makita tool yet though, that's why I use them and Not Dewalt!

Drill is very light, powerful and better than anything I've had before. Battery lasts a long time.

Great well balanced drill with lots of power, case is robust and easy to open/close (unlike the stacking boxes) love the olive green colour, would buy more tools in that colour if I could.
