Good and solid though the high reved motor is louder than I'm used to. Chuck seems great.

An addition to my set of Makita tools, replacing a brushless combi-drill that developed a very sloppy chuck bearing. I didn’t need the hammer drill function in this tool, so I saved a few quid by buying the drill-driver. My experience with Makita is that their tools are pretty reliable, and the 3-year warranty helps. A About this tool: it’s compact, does what I need, so not much more to say, other than that I’ll see how its reliability turns out.
