Awesome piece of kit. Used it for the finest finishing I’ve ever done.

Having looked at the spec and reviews of various sanders I am really pleased with my purchase. I already had a rectangular orbital sander but that leaves orbit marks. This Makita sander is a joy to use - lightweight, easy to handle, minimal vibration and outstanding results. I bought some Abranet discs ranging from 80 to 320 grit and the finish on copper beech, ash and oak is fantastic.

Only used a few times so far. Seems well made and reliable as per all Makita tools

Not as good as the one I bought from Wickes for £2.00 in a clearance sale. The Wickes 1 lasted about 21 years and was a brilliant sander, this 1 is mediocre. Oh and guess what, the cheap cardboard box that’s it’s sold in is too small. Observe the way it’s packaged or you’ll need a “Krypton Factor” approach to put it back in neatly. My review is honest, hope it helps ;)

Fits easily in the hand, is very powerful yet light and does a very good job. Linked it with a dust extractor and absolutely no dust to be seen! Very impressed
