The Makita 8406 hammer drill has a torque limiter and a powerful motor. It can accept a large diamond core bit 152 mm (5-7/8") inch diameter. This tool is ideal for making clean-cut, smooth holes in tile, ferroconcrete, marble, brick, etc. Suitable for all sizes of dry diamond core making it suitable for copper pipe, waste pipe and even soil pipes.
