“This bag or a dust extraction system is a necessity when using the Makita planers, the amount of dust and shavings these machine throw out makes it hard to use without some form of extraction. Although the bag does exactly what its supposed to do and collects almost all of the debris thrown out by the planer, I have two issues with it 1) It really should come supplied with the machine and not an extra cost item 2) It is overly large and flops about a bit, more so as it starts to fill up. A smaller bag and more regular emptying would have been more manageable”
