“Not Quite What I Expected. I bought this, expecting it to be a plain, empty case as the description didn't give any further details, apart from the size. I wanted to use it to store my new DCS334N jig saw, plus a battery charger and battery. Unfortunately, it turned out to be full of moulded compartments for a specific model of electric drill (DCD996X1), so is of no use to me unless I can find a way of chopping out all the internals, because it will hold neither the jig saw not the battery charger. Of course, it's to the usual De Walt high standard of manufacture, but just inappropriate for what I wanted.”

“Good quality strong cases for power tools allowing protection for various items in the van and on site. Purchase foam inserts as well and you can customise the case to suit your requirements. Bought two of these to fit a router and palm router and the accessories in one case and the second for a power planer with the fence, dust collection bag tools and spare blades. These cases are cheap to purchase but offer excellent protection for your expensive power tools, it makes sense. Would recommend.”

“This was bought to house a DeWalt impact driver, battery and driver bits. Together with an existing shadow foam insert, this does the job perfectly and it stacks with my other TSTAK II cases.”

“I have several of these cases which stack neatly together. Unfortunately there was no custom tray or foam to accommodate my Dewalt reciprocating saw, so I used a third party foam inlay, which was fiddly but worked out well. Fits the saw, a 5amp hour battery and set of saw blades. I like the dual handles and snap closures. Good case for the money”
