I purchased this saw and guide rails for ripping down fencing boards. After setting up the two guide rails I ripped 50mm off a 100mm wide board. I worked perfectly and the saw produced a very accurate and clean cut. An excellent piece of kit.

This is my first plunge saw and guide rail so I cant really compare it to others. What I can say is, I should have bought one of these years ago. This is by far the most useful power tool I own. It makes cutting long straight lines a doddle. Buy one.
