The Multi-Tool itself is of great quality which is what I'd come to expect from DeWalt tools. Primarily the purchase was made to aid in the refurbishment of a staircase. The blades were great but the sandpaper backing came off every time I changed to a different grade. Not ideal on day one of the job when you're miles from the nearest DIY store.

I bought this to undercut the ends of a door frame to fit some laminate flooring and it was just about perfect for this job, would have taken ages to do manually if it was even possible. I'm sure I'll find lots of other uses as time goes on. A very versatile, well made tool it would seem.

For me it's only needed for occasional DIY so no need for expensive batteries. A tradesman would probably prefer the flexibility of having no trailing cable. So far I have only used it to cut through some ivy branches. I am very happy with my purchase.
