“Used indoors so far. Bright red beam easy to reference. Drop ceiling levels, verticality check for studs, alignment for walls etc. Options for attaching. Using outside in sunny weather I expect it will be limited. Having used laser levels that cost many time more with red lasers the laser line has been very late. A receiver is essential. More expense but worth every penny. The Dewalt laser is supplied in a tough carry case. Spare batteries can be stored in the case. For inside trades such as shopfitting, office fit outs, sparks, chippies - a perfect bit of kit. Thoroughly recommend. External trades, a red laser beam and 3 x 1.5v - not so good. Green lasers externally are supposed to be better. Also greater voltage is needed. Brickies probably wouldn’t find it much use to mark out for levels unless a receiver is used.”

“Tool itself is really sturdy and great value for money. Sadly for me, the individual piece i got had a defect. the laser kept flashing even when fully still. I suspect it was either a faulty batch or somehting during transit. But i would still recommend this tool as its the best value for money you can hope for - and its a solid piece of kit. great balance of quality vs. price for DIY.”
