“This saw has some serious power & with the 9ah battery probably exceeds a 240v saw. It’ll cut 25mm chipboard all day long & even makes light work of 40mm oak. The only downside is that the 9ah battery makes it quite heavy so having a smaller battery in your tool bag might not be a bad idea.”

“Very impressed with the power of this saw, for a cordless item I wasn't expecting what I got, it cuts through 18mm shuttering ply like butter, as if it's not even there. The same with standard 2x4 type of materials. I get more noticable slow down when I used a 240v tool than this, it's an absolute beast. Nice wind up and near-instant shut off clutch as well, really impressed. Batteries are heavy, but that is a necessity of the design and 54v in itself, this is easily outweighed by the sheer power of the saw. Fast charger is a little loud but it gets the big batteries charged relatively quickly, though I haven't timed it yet.”
