Still coming with an efficient brushless motor but it now can run on DCB184 5.0Ah, DCB182 4.0Ah, or DCB183 2.0Ah battery packs (sold separately). The DCN692 benefits from longer runtime, quicker readiness to fire, less recoil and more durability when firing short nails. Have been using Dewalt nailers for a while. Not perfect but none of them are. In constant use (roofing)last about year and a half. No point servicing it as cost of service 60% cost of new product. Plus service doesn’t always work
