“I have never had a chainsaw because I thought I had no use for one until I needed to reduce the height of an extensive length of overgrown hedge. As I already have Dewalt equipment with a supply of Dewalt batteries I decided to go with their brand of body only chainsaw. I am very pleased with the result and have managed to get the mixed hedge under control. Some of the trunks and branches measured well in excess of 2 inches in diameter but the saw managed them without any hesitation. I look forward to adding this useful piece of kit to my gardening equipment.”

“I brought this after having constant starting problems with my petrol chainsaw. I was not sure how this would compare compared to the high reving petrol but it's fine. Does not cut as quickly as the petrol but great for my needs for cutting smallish logs and lengths of scrap timber for the log burner. I have not used it for long enough to test battery duration. Brought the body only as I use 18v XR batteries from my drill/drivers. Now scrapped the petrol chainsaw and no need to store petrol.”

“This is the updated version that fixes the issues with oil leaks. Screwfix are still selling The older version at a higher price so it was a no brainer to buy this model at a cheaper price here. Very capable machine would highly recommend.”
