“Powerful motor with two speeds means that the brush cutter line clears through some quite thick material. Recently trimmed an area of very overgrown garden and it dealt with the long grass easily. I think the guard could be smaller so that you have more cord cutting at the base of the material rather than the guard pushing over the grass etc. The cord seems good and it is ridiculously easy to load the spindle. I cut off a length of cord and then folded it in half and wound the cord The 54V batteries don't seem to last that long, but it is surprising how quickly the cutter clears an area so two batteries should keep you going. One thing to note. The 5713 does not have a kit for attaching the brush cutter blade (the brush cutter kit is only for the 571). The drive shaft is not long enough for the adaptor kit and does not have the hole for the safety pin. You could of course fit a brush cutter using the kit and use large washers to hold the blade instead of the supplied spindle washer but there is a real danger that the blade would not be centered on the shaft. At this stage I am actually not sure if the blade is that necessary”

“Light weight and powerful performance, well balanced for comfortable use. Early days yet, only had to use low power so far. Line trimmer really easy to reload and bump head to extend line in use.”
