“I bought the DeWalt DCM563P1 after seeing a great review and it has exceeded expectations. It is a lightweight unit even with the battery and cuts cleanly and accurately. The battery hasn’t run out on me so far and it has been a lot easier than a corded cutter. Fully recommend this DeWalt hedge trimmer.”

“Having spent years using a petrol trimmer I finally took the plunge and went cordless, picked DeWalt as I have other tools with plenty of batteries. Pleased with results, doesn't quite have the same "oomph" of a petrol but spent 7hrs cutting approx 18inch off a privet and trimmer performed well, plus no 2-stroke fumes belching in your face and a lot lighter. The 2 switch safety mechanism is no problem with practice and trimmer can be held at all positions a petrol can. Far better trimmer than the DeWalt pole trimmer as blades a lot wider. Very pleased.”

“I really like this. It’s easy to use and, importantly, there’s no cable to worry about! I’m the sort of bloke who seems capable of chopping through cables periodically, despite my best efforts. My solution - feeding the cable through a carabiner attached to my trouser belt is not ideal! I also have some hedge a LONG way from the house, so I no longer need miles and miles of extension cable. The DeWalt is reasonably light and cuts well. Very happy.”
