This DCL040 compact lightweight torch from DeWalt has impact resistant housing with the LED bulb producing 110 lumen output with a 10K hr life plus 2 zone light pattern. With improved ergonomic design and rubber grip increase comfort. Includes an integrated hook for hanging.

“This light is fantastic in fact it is so good I will probably get another one. What I like about it is it is powerful and fits all my chunky Dewalt batteries it just clips on. The trouble with torches is one you keep losing them and two the batteries always run out when you need them and three with some of them if you don't keep them charged regular they die With this one you cannot lose it because its nice and big especially when attached to a Dewalt battery. The batteries never run out because they stay charged for months so they last forever. Also when you really need a torch ,its dark but you can always find this torch because its sizeable and you can put your hands on it straight away. You cannot really keep it in a glove box you have a little torch for that but you always know where this one is.”

“I have an Elu torch tungsten halogen torch that uses the spare NiCad batteries for my 12v DeWalt drill. I have had both for many years and both are still going strong after faultless service. However I recently purchased a DeWalt DCD795 18v Lithium Ion drill which came with two 2.0Ah batteries, so I decided to duplicate the old setup by purchasing a DCL040 torch. Compared with the Elu, the new torch is lighter, brighter and lasts far longer on one charge, Unlike the DCL040, the old torch came with replaceable bulbs (I think it is now on its third) but LEDs are supposed to have a much longer service life so I hope it will be OK in the long term. Have been so impressed by the DCL040 that I have bought a DCL050 worklight to supplement it.”

“Great product!! Works with the XR range of batteries and lasts for ages on a full battery. Single click on and off, no need to hold the button down to keep the torch on. I would definitely recommend this product”
