“This is our third 18v Dewalt SDS after the DCH273. As electricians they are used day after day, taking quite a lot of abuse, chasing and drilling. Can't speak for longevity as only had it a couple of weeks but if its any thing like the other ones should last really well. Its got a lot more punch than the previous ones and this is very noticible. The day after it arrived used it for putting chases into a new kitchen, this was 1970's brick and it hardly noticed it. The following week it was used on rewiring a property where it was used continually for hours at a time, battery use seems to be good as well. Its quite heavy, but that's fair enough for the grunt you get out of it.”
