Far more powerful than my parkside drill and a bonus is the bits don't come loose every time hammer action is used. Batteries charge quickly and it's handy to have a spare charged up if needed. Would've preferred the metal side handle as the one provided is plastic but does the job. It's also quite a heavy drill bit you get what you pay for. Case is a nice touch.

Bought this to replace an older model DeWalt Combi Drill which unfortunately can’t be repaired due to lack of parts availability. Can’t complain though as I bought it in 2006. The replacement is a much more powerful machine although a little on the heavy side. Not keen on the belt clip although this can be removed. Early days yet but this seems an excellent piece of kit

Burnt out two Makita combi drills. Switched to Dewalt. A far superior product. Virtually all my tools are Dewalt now.

Purchased for partners birthday present. We did have to return a faulty drill. We received a replacement day after it was received back by Power Tool World. Partner likes although he finds it weird that there is a clicking sound when using. This was an upgrade to his current Dewalt drill. Hopefully the replacement will last longer than the original one.

Fantastic drill, worth every penny, i use this drill every day and give it a real workout drilling through concrete, stone etc and have yet to find a job its not up to, you definitely need ear protection in hammer function on top speed but it goes through the toughest substrates like butter. Lots of control in lower modes, my only criticism would be it is a little heavier but that is more the 5A batteries and once you using it daily you dont notice.
