great drill bought the body only because i already have batteries that fit from other stuff only reason it hasn't got five stars is because I've only used it twice so far (off work due to covid 19) but it is compact and feels sturdy i like that it has a metal chuck unlike its competitors similar models i have other dewalt xr stuff and its all brilliant sure it will serve me well when I get back on the tools.

DeWalt cordless drills are the best in the business. When I bought my first, some years ago, I was blown away by the battery life and quality feel of the tool. I recently bought this new brushless drill so that I have one drill for drilling and the other for screw-driving. Since my first drill came with 2 batteries this body-only unit made perfect sense and, unless you’re a professional and using it all day, every day, the second battery rarely gets used anyway. No one should waste their money on diy brands that come with, in my experience, batteries that won’t hold a charge after a couple of years. Pay a little more for a DeWalt, but only pay it once!
