“Received battery with manufacturing date of 2022 - potentially 3 years old. Personally I believe batteries have to be sold fresher than this but I was assured by customer service that Dewalt will honour full warranty length so taking my chances and will have to see how it works out. Haven’t had a chance to use battery on labour intensive job yet so not in position to give feedback regarding it’s advantages over standard 5amp battery.”

“This type of battery is truly from another generation. Some time ago I ordered a flexvolt 6Ah battery from you, because of my flexvolt 18v angle grinder. But I think that my other DeWalt tools behave better in operating mode with a pouerstack 5Ah. With flexvolt 6ah these tools always work at their limit. That's why I'm happy with my choice!”
