“I will start by saying i have a full array of bosch professional 18v tools which i use every day for my work and they have all mostly been really good and would buy the same again. I have owned 2 bow handle type bosch jigsaws in the past,used pritty much every day and each one lasted just over 3 years.this time around i went with the barrel handle version but that was a big mastake, very not happy with it. Its the on off switch thats the problem. Its quite stiff to switch on and same to turn off. As soon as you finish a cut you want the machine to stop but ifs a total faff, almost requires two hands to turn it off, im usually holding the work piece so need another hand, it definitely slows down your productivity. Doesnt have variable trigger like the bow version, also it longer than the bow handle not so handy in tight spaces. I have gone and bought the bow version again and this one will never be used on a job again. Be warned.”

“Excellent jigsaw & I'm finding it's easier to use than the usual standard shaped Jigsaws, 1 handed use is a doddle & it's quick change function is well thought out & a breeze to use. As part of the Bosch blue pro range you can use your existing batteries with it too. All in all I can highly recommend the barrel style versus the usual style & this particular model has been great so far :)”
