“Good drills got the older model of this one. Had about 3 off them. Only expect it to last about 2 to 3 years. Don’t make them the way they used to. With the Bosch warranty 3 years your now safe for up to three years. If it breaks they’ll fix it . So for the money it’s a decent buy. If your not using it every day and only occasionally it will last a lot longer”

“I bought this to replace a much (ab)used and larger 18 volt Bosch drill on which the gearbox was failing. I am really pleased with the new drill which is much lighter, smaller and easier to handle. I would certainly recommend this as a solid and useful piece of kit.”

“Excellent bit of kit. Bought to replace 18-2-Li whose gearbox had gone. Even though its the same battery it seems more powerful! Finally decent hammer action on a cordless drill.”

“Nice ergonomics, good torque output for the money. Use it on speed setting 2 as no.1 is underpowered for most drill and driving jobs. Mine developed a fault with the chuck after 9 months of only occasional use, sending it back to Bosch for repair. Don't forget to register warranty in 1st month or you only get a 1 yr warranty which is disappointing.”
