Does what is required of it with reasonable good battery life. I bought (as a sparks) for first fix work or removing old wiring sockets conduit etc on smaller jobs so I’m humping round an 18v. Use longer drill bits with it (pb Swiss) and so far no fails. V happy with tool so far

I got a 10.8 drill driver in the same range years ago and absolutely love it. I’ve relatively small hands and sold a lot of dewalt I bought as they are just unwieldy for me (I do a lot of repair/Old work) I can really get around these tools and own them when it comes to driving things down, the weight is great and although one of those handy upside down clips would be ideal you the small battery means you can literally stick them in your pocket. The batteries are cheap enough and charge fast. The power indicator is a must. I always thought impact drivers were noisy over powered things I didn’t need but recently a mate lent me one and Whilst initially a bit flummoxed (the impact felt like the driver was camming out)I was amazed how they removed screws with damaged heads that would cause my driver real problems. The higher speed for drilling is great and I’m already a huge fan of hex mount bits so the option to forget the bit holder was welcomed, and it must be said they are much more solid directly in the body. Just like the driver I find this has plenty of power for what I do (it’s rare I’d drive beyond a 4” 10) it does suck up a bit more juice than the driver(which will work without charge all day, this needs a 1.5ah charging in half that) the led light is handy although you can’t beat a head torch I feel. The only thing that’s a bit of a grumble is it doesn’t eject the bits really (my mates dewalt spits them across the room) and having to pull forward the collar to insert them makes one handed changes near impossible..but that’s a very minor fault. I don’t currently see what an 18v dewalt offers over this. Brilliant. (And you can look at it! No dumb whizzy logos! Classy bosch! Keep looks simple!)
