“I haven’t had much of chance to use it due to the dry weather and the grass and ground being parched. However it was a simple task putting it together out of the box, it seems robust, the height adjustment is easily operated, the cable is well sized and suited for the task. I found it light to handle, I’d set the cutting height quite high it quickly covered my lawn, I did need an extension lead to cover the area but that was expected. The cuttings were efficiently scooped up and the grass box was easily released when full. Overall I’m quite happy with my purchase”

“Excellent powerful mower especially given its light weight and manoeuvrability. Collapsible grass box assists with storage space but the downside is that it is rather flimsy when being used as an actual grass box on the machine. Box is not well constructed and if not mounted absolutely perfectly the power of the mower blows the box off and across the garden! The cord is rather short given the size of lawns this model is designed for which makes for regular repositioning of the extension lead. Assembly instructions could be clearer and the top mounted cut height adjuster is worthy of an explanation somewhere in the manual - had to Google search to find out how it works. But the job the mower does cannot be faulted - excellent cut, the leaf catching and border trimming features make a discernible difference and the broader width of cut really does reduce the number of travels across the lawn.”

“This is a good mower but not as good as the one I had before (Bosch Rotak 40) so I wish I had paid to have that one repaired instead of buying new. Some changes made (perhaps to overcome previous problems like grass getting into the motor) are not improvements. There is a longer, narrower nose with a "grass comb" underneath which flattens the grass so that it is not upright when it meets the blade and looks ragged after the cut. It also means you cannot cut as close to an obstacle in front of you. Admittedly the narrower nose makes it easier to get close to the base of trees growing in the lawn, but that's only a small part of the job. I am not keen on the collapsible grass box either - too much grass caught in the structure. Because it has been designed with a folding handle, the cable from the hand control to the motor is loose and liable to get caught on branches as you pass. I am lucky to have plenty of room in the garage so I don't need these space saving features.”

“Let me start by saying, this mower cuts beautifully. But has to my mind a couple of design faults. 1 The safety switch has a very string spring, witch has a tendency overpower the tension of finger pressure, the consequence of this the machine keeps turning off, and on, a longer control lever would have prevented this 2 The grass bag has perforated sides so when mowing a dry lawn a lot of dust was picked up and blown into the air masking me cough. Excellent delivery service from Tool World would recommend them.”

“Excellent mower, except for cut level adjustment, which is set at minimum cut level & will not adjust. I have spoken to Bosch, & ascertained that this mower is a German import, not made in the UK, & this problem seems to be the norm with these imports. This mower will have to be repaired or replaced in due course.”

“This performs well so far. Only downside is the instructions for adjusting the height. I had to go to Youtube to find out how this works by pulling up on the handle before pressing the button.”

“Not as nimble as my old Flymo but gives a better finish with no grass being blown everywhere . Has sufficient power to tackle quite long and wet grass and very easy to adjust the cutting height . Found the handle grips became uncomfortable after a while and not sure how rugged the grass box will prove long term . It cuts very close to the edge at the sides but not at the front when trying to cut grass under a hedge . The cord is only 10m long but very good quality ...”
