“Unfortunately, as noted by another reviewer, this item is incredibly heavy. We bought two to go in our living room and dining room but we are afraid to put them up on our lath and plaster 1930s ceilings, we are fearful that the ceiling just isn’t sufficiently robust, so regrettably we are going to have to return them. Such a shame as they were by far the most attractive light fittings of this type we had found.”

Hi Cindy, Thank you for your feedback but I am sorry you were concerned about the weight of these. The fittings supplied are for securely fitting this to a ceiling, without risk of them falling down, and we have had them fitted in our showrooms for a few months now with no issues but I have asked our web team to add the weight to the product page for customers reference so that moving forward this can be checked ahead of ordering should you feel that you have a weaker ceiling support. I am so sorry again that you were unable to use them but I have no doubt that they would be fine but your electrician would have been able to advise and suggest extra measures you can add to your ceiling to ensure this.
