“instructions dont explain how the timer functions work. battery life is not great. price is high not very bright. will not charge with a usb-c to usb-c cable like most modern devices, it will only charge with a - c cable. which shows it uses older, cheaper power management hardware - not worth the price they charge for these bulb units.”

We do try and make the instructions as clear as possible to make the item user friendly but if you ever do have any questions regarding the functionality of the Genesis, please contact our customer service team via hello@pooky.com or our customer service number 020 7351 3003. We do advertise the approximate battery life and lumen output on our website under product details so that customers are aware of this before purchasing but I am sorry you are disappointed with this. In regards to the charging cable type, I have fed this back to the appropriate teams and they are now going to change this on our website to make this clearer before purchase. We chose to use USB-USB C as this is the most common charging cable due to it being compatible with USB plugs and wanted to make this as universally accessible for our customers as possible.
