“Much deeper colour than on website - more ebony, deep brown and the hardware is the same colour, which I’m unsure if I like as one could assume the base is of the same material. And usually the base is of a superior quality and design than the hardware! The plinth is also wonky down the left hand side. Gosh I think I’m talking myself out of keeping it! But it perfectly suits a shade I’ve wanted to show off for a while.”

Thank-you so much for your feedback, Vivienne. We have decided to keep the riser on the base the same finish as the majority of customers prefer that they match. I have looked at the imagery on the website, and will pass your comments on to our photography team. However, imagery can really differ from screen to screen which is why we offer such an easy returns process. I am slightly concerned to see you have advised that the base is wonky- we can definitely offer a replacement if you would like! Just drop us an email to hello@pooky.com, and one of our Sales Team will be able to come back to you. If I can help with anything else, then please do give me a call on 0207 351 3003. Best wishes, Becci

“I am absolutely thrilled with these lamps. I bought two to sit on a console table in the hall where they look stunning, taking up little room but impressive enough to give that 'wow' factor as you walk into the house. Brilliant, thank you”

“After an extensive search for table lamps, I was delighted to find the pooky website with its wide range of lamps. I settled on the trafalgar lamp for my initial purchase and am very happy with my choice. The simple, elegant lines of the lamp stand fit perfectly in my dining room, but could so easily be used in many other rooms in the house.”

“A very elegant tall lamp. It is just the thing to set on a corner table . Good value for money”

“A stylish lamp base but the quality control was poor. The first lamp was delivered without the upright being attached firmly to the base. The replacement was similarly faulty, and also scratched. The third lamp was fine but it would have been preferable if goods were checked before despatch if this was a known problem.”
