“So good that this is my second Pickling lamp. Really elegant, & works just as well in my new country cottage as it did in my old Georgian town house. The bulb recharges quickly, and the base is heavy enough to make sure that it's not easily knocked over. I'm not sure of the point of the articulating ball joint at each end of the lamp's stem, but maybe useful for some. If you want quality, elegance & functionality, this is the lamp for you.”

“Great help from the young lady In store she showed real interest in our purchase. With regard to delivery by npd this was excellent with a delivery time within a 1 hour slot not the usual am or pm. Altogether a great purchase . Thanks.”

“I love it! Looks so traditional but underneath lurks a trendy, clever and eco friendly shell. So easy to use and adjust and I particularly like that the lampshade connects to the genesis light magnetically. I have quite dark lampshades so when I’m reading in bed I can now quickly and easily remove the shade and/or bend the lamp towards me. I think it’s brilliant and love the fact it runs of a battery. We have solar panels so for approx. 9 months of the year it costs nothing to run. If in doubt, just buy one!”

“Very sweet little lamp. I really like it. Although described as antique brass, the stem is actually mat black, which works well for me. The lamp could be brighter but as it is rechargeable, and I guess if it's not your main lighting, it's fine.”
