“I hadn’t realised that the maximum wattage of this product was 20w bulb. We tried to get a stronger bulb but it won’t light. It is far too dull for a table lamp to eat by. Shame as the style is good.”

Hi there, Thank you for feeding this back to us. I am sorry that the Phileas was not suitable for you. We do state the lumen output of this in the product details of our products so that customers can check this before purchase but I apologise if this was not clear. These lamps are only compatible with out rechargeable bulbs as well so this maybe why a different bulb did not work. I can see that you have returned this and have been refunded now. We are now looking to move all our rechargeables to our Genesis technology, which I believe would make this light brighter than the version you purchased here. Hopefully this will solve the issue you have raised. “Procrastinated for ages on whether to purchase and so glad I did. The lamp has exceeded expectations. Satisfyingly solid and weighty. Looks good, 3 light levels, comes with the bulb and is easy to charge.”
