“The lamp is gorgeous and really speaks of quality with its bronze base. However I think it's a little too short, so any shade from 30cm onwards feels like out of proportion. I would suggest making it a little taller. I had to do a DIY "riser" for the shade in order to elevate the whole length.”

Thank you so much for your feedback and I am sorry the base was a little too short for your liking. We will certainly pass that on to production to take into account. We do have a wide range of bases with different heights and for this one 30cm is the very maximum size shade we would recommend, for those that want a slightly larger shade on these skinny bases but we will certainly review whether we should remove the 30cm from the recommendations in future - we really do appreciate the feedback! “This lamp was perfect for our bedside tables, the room is a mix of period and contemporary design and we thought this lamp brought the two together. It’s slim tall design meant it didn’t take up too much space but added maximum impact.”

“This lamp seemed expensive, especially when you add in the cost of the shade on top but it looks great on my bedside table and I wish I had bought it sooner. The base is tiny so it does not take up too much room on the table and it is heavy enough to be totally stable. The cord is 190cm long so easily reaches the sockets. The switch on the lamp is a bit 'plastic' but works very smoothly. Looks good with 20cm empire shades and golf ball bulb.”
