“Nice heavy weight. No worries about the cat or a drowsy self knocking it over. I love the tactile feel of the 4 brass disks as my hand climbs for the push switch. And the fabric cable cord adds that extra touch of elegance.”

“Such an elegant lamp with a lovely weight and beautiful detailing. There is no chance of knocking this off balance. The marble base has wonderful markings and a fresh blue/grey tone. The lean brass upright is crisp and subtle but not shiny or bright. The two materials compliment each other very well. Now to choose a shade!”

“I love the elegance of this base - it sits on top of a fairly tall chest of drawers and I sized up from the 20cm Brasso shade (which I loved) to a 25cm Ikat one as I could see too much of the switch at the neck of the base. The Ikat works beautifully in my scheme.”

“Very solid, attractive lamp. The bronze is quite muted - which is no bad thing! Would suit any scheme but I have it in my Hicks Blue living room. Love the marble base too, it adds an extra fanciness.”
