“This is a very pretty little lamp but I was disappointed that it came with a dark cable which looks rather conspicuous, emerging from a pale lamp base. Secondly the cable was too short for anything other than a socket very close by. So I can’t use them (ordered two) on my dressing table for which they were carefully chosen! Luckily I have found other places for them, but in any event Pooky could usefully consider making a paler light cable for this base and lengthening it!”
