“This is the second Trafalgar lamp we have tried - we had to take the first one back as the base was wobbly. We went to the shop and waited outside for 25 minutes before the shop assistant turned up at 10:30am on a Sunday (it is meant to open at 10am) and opened the show room. We saw the same lamp in the showroom which seemed much more stable (we were offered this as a replacement but the base was dented so we decided to wait for a new one to be delivered), but it has arrived and is also wobbly on it's base. Not as bad as the previous one, but still FAR from ideal, given the cost. It was SO much effort to take the other one back that we are sticking with it because it's a good looking lamp, but we will not be purchasing anything from Pooky again. The quality is shocking for the price.”
