“Whilst I loved the lampshade as soon as I set eyes on it, I was concerned when it didn’t fit the lamp I purchased with it. However, after a very quick phone call the young lady at the sales office explained how to remove the inner circle to make it fit the small lamp. I did say that a small sheet explaining this fact would have been helpful, and she informed me that the suppliers have been told about this many times. Maybe you, as a company, should address this issue. Other than this tiny hiccup, I am really pleased with the items, the prices and the service. Thanks so much.”

Hi Patricia, Thank you for your feedback and I am glad you were able to remove the reducer ring for your lampshade. What I believe my colleague would have meant is that this is something we do get asked from time to time and that we are now working on including in the boxes. We are working on the designs for these instructions and it will be something we will endeavour to roll out for other customers in the future. In the meantime however we do detail instructions on this element on our website but we will try and find a way to make this more visible! “I have just bought the straight Empire shade in peacock dupion silk and it is so elegant and stylish. The colour is extraordinarily pretty - so on trend - and complements my blue and white colour scheme perfectly. It's classic, beautiful and reasonably priced. The silk is very nice quality and has a lovely iridescence to it. I'm really pleased with my first ever purchase from Pooky, and I am sure it will not be my last.”
