Thank you for sending in your review. We try and price our goods appropriately so they reflect decent value but we also try and manufacture goods from good materials and so that they last many years. This product is made of pure brass which is an expensive metal. We do this because we think it makes a real difference to the quality of the finish of the metal and so that it doesn't rust over time.
