“I might have been unlucky but I have two toilets fitted with this flush valve and they haven't worked well. Some of the problem is that the plastic tube needs to be removed regularly and a cm cut off in order to restore a tight fit over the male plastic joints. I have the dio push valves and I find them unpleasant to use - I keep catching my finger on the inside edge. The Dudley video on YouTube is excellent and helps if you want to trace a flush problem. Also, I had an excellent and rapid response from Dudley to a technical question which was very helpfull to me. I needed to know if it is possible to remove the flush valve from the cistern via the front panel as my top panel is trapped in place by wall tiles and wash basins. Being my first attempt to replace flush valves, I was anxious not to attempt to do this until I knew it would possible in case I got stuck with a situation I couldn't finish (perhaps not being able to get a new unit in place or put the old one back).”
