“My previous Stuart Turner WC3 unit was nothing but trouble and which, in the end, 'died' completely. I really didn't want to buy another but to have accommodated another make would have involved a total re-plumbing and re-design of the en suite. Per force of circumstance, but reluctantly, I have bought another Stuart Trurner WC3 to fit existing plumbing BUT ever hoping that this one is better and more reliable than the one it is replacing.”
“An identical one was installed 4 years ago and was only really used for shower and sink drainage. Moving it when the en-suite was refurbed caused a problem. Required removal of the unit and the cartridge inside has to be shaken to reset the pressure switch. Reinstalled and then the motor ran on. Rip out and buy a new one. Time will tell if this lasts. As said ST Advice line are good and know their pumps inside out.”
