“So far works well, allow me more chance to move around in the house and holding my baby. Sterilisation seems to be a bit of a hassle as they do not recommend microwave. I am planning to buy another one to pump on both breasts.”
“I was a bit nervous to start as I have not used a portable breast pump before so initially only bought the one but just purchased a second and can't wait for it to arrive.
I bought the LED and can say it has made it very easy to pump at home and on the go. I was very aware of how it looked initially as I have a rather large bust but it sits well and isn't too obvious when wearing layers (top and cardigan/jumper)
I have a 10 day old and already expressing 15 oz a day from the single pump and don't feel it takes up too much of my time. The parts are all easy to clean (3 sections) and I put my pump on charge after every use so always plenty of charge.
The only issues I have had is once it gets to about 3/4oz of milk if you bend it can tip out the top of the device through the funnel so have to remember to squat but only made that mistake twice. The mechanic part can also come loose as you empty it so always hold a finger over it.
I pump at night whilst propped up and get a good supply and can empty with one hand on the device which is helpful. My little one also seems to like the sound of the device, which isn't louder than my phone when being called on vibrate.
Overall, I am very happy with it and well priced compared to others on the market.”
“Easy to use once I had worked out that the automatic functioned worked best for me. Easy to sterilise and can still get stuff done whilst pumping saving so much time.
Highly recommend.”
“Makes life so much easier. Problem with motor but was replaced quickly - I think this might be a common problem as my replacement now has the same issue, however the milk extracted is the same just the power doesn’t seem as strong.”
“Very unhappy. I’m not one to write bad reviews but on this occasion I feel I need to. I purchased the hands free pump and it didn’t work. I don’t have a problem pumping and pump 100ml easily in less than 10 minutes. The pump collected no milk at all even on the highest suction. I even ordered an addition flange but it still didn’t work. I contacted Pippeta who refused a refund due to their policy. I understand that they cannot refund customers if they decide they don’t want their products any more, however the product didn’t work and therefore I feel a refund isn’t much to ask.
I had to return my pump for their team to assess it for any faults, which they decided there weren’t any and refused my refund. They then finished their final email to me wish me all the best with my pumping journey, helpful. So I’m now £98 out of pocket and had to purchase another pump, which works perfectly fine.”
Hello,
Thank you for your review.
We are sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with your Pippeta pump. I have looked into this matter.
As per our returns policy should there be any issues with Pippeta breast pumps we have them inspected by our in-house technician to check for numerous things from manufacturers issues to milk/water contamination. Should this be the case depending on the findings we would replace the motor.
Unfortunately, in this case the pump was in full working order and suction levels at the standard required for our pumps, therefore we are unable to refund the item unless there is a product fault.
Kind Regards
Pippeta
“Much more convenient than my hospital grade pump and strong enough suction.
A little too noisey to use out at lunch etc, but fine to put in whilst taking the little one out for a walk and far easier to pick her up/do tasks whilst using”
